Comedy Nights And Tehillim

They have these Jewish comedy performances with a lineup of Jewish comedians all over the place.

The people attending probably never thought of this but the entire production is a fulfillment of a pasuk in tehillim!!!

"ובמושב לצים לא ישב"!!!!😊😊😊

"In a Moshav Leitzim one shouldn't sit". [The best translation for "מושב לצים" is "Moshav Leitzim"].

Dovid Hamelech thought the message soooooooooooo important he put it in the very first perek!

Mussar Haskel: Humor is GREAT. We have posted on these pages about the benefits of humor. This is actually the funniest blog that I or anyone in my immediate family writes [and, farshtaytzich, the only blog]. But when people pay good money to sit in a room with other people for hours with the express purpose of laughing it has gone too far. Desert is OK but when the main course is rugelach and ice cream it is a problem. Humor is supposed to [among other things] sweeten life so that we can healthfully focus on what really matters. A means and not an end. Not to mention that the jokes are often vulgar or mock Torah and mitzvos [not that I have been but I know the genre] and that the type of people who attend these events are often people who one should not interact with unless completely necessary.
