In a recent article in the Jerusalem Post from a "Pseudo-Modern-Orthodox-Rabbi" he writes, among other gems, that funding to the Charedim should be slashed. One of the consequences he hopes for is that they will have less children.
Two comments:
1. Giving חרדים לדבר השם a few less shekels a month is not going to dissuade them from having children.
2. There is NOTHING more beautiful than a Jewish child.
Scary to think of a rabbi [a musmach of the Novardok Yeshiva "Beis Yosef" in Brooklyn] expressing a sentiment that the Chofetz Chaim would vehemently disagree with while להבדיל Hitler ימ"ש שר"י would enthusiastically support.
