Human Lives Matter - The Trilogy

“The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference. The opposite of art is not ugliness, it's indifference. The opposite of faith is not heresy, it's indifference. And the opposite of life is not death, it's indifference.”

“There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest."

“We must take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented. Sometimes we must interfere. When human lives are endangered, when human dignity is in jeopardy, national borders and sensitivities become irrelevant. Wherever men and women are persecuted because of their race, religion, or political views, that place must - at that moment - become the center of the universe.”

Elie Weisel

Why should we care that in 2018 there were approximately 40-50 million abortions [!!!] on the planet, averaging about 125,000 a day? We Jews have our own problems!!

Why should we care that in the US alone 47,173 people KILLED THEMSELVES last year?? We Jews have our own problems!!

Why should we care that drug overdoses killed more than 72,000 people in the United States alone last year?? We Jews have our own problems!!

Here are 2 reasons among many more:

1] Everything that affects the general population affects us as well. Plenty of Jewish babies are being aborted, plenty of Jews are committing suicide and plenty of Jews are OD'ing on drugs.

2] Better! We Jews were created to fix the world and if we don't care about all the problems we are being derelict in our responsibilities and won't fix anything.

Yet, for the most part we go on with our lives, focus on the Almighty [dollar] and try to get through life with as few problems as possible.
