Once Rav Moshe Blau took the Chazon Ish to Jerusalem in a taxi, and in the middle of the road the Arab driver stopped the car and said he would not continues unless they added money to the already agreed upon price. Rav Blau said he would give him the money outside the car, and they both went out and the Chazon Ish stayed inside, and Rav Blau gave him two ringing slaps in the face, and immediately the driver went inside and continued driving as agreed.
When Rav Blau came back in, the Chazon Ish trembled, "what did you do?"
