Man to me in shul: Do you have a minute [note: A "minute" is rarely a minute] to step outside so I can talk to you?
Me: "Having time" is a function of what is important to a person. Saying "I don't have time" is another way of saying that "it is not important enough for me". But people don't feel comfortable telling other people that they or what they want are not important, so instead they say that they don't have time. Yes, I have time. [It was about 5-10 minutes]

We all have 24 hours a day and are not slaves. We get to choose how we spend them.
