This is interesting: Darwin expressed doubt that a brain which just evolved from monkeys who evolved from … who evolved from …. could ever reach an understanding of ultimate truths. So that leaves us stuck with the knowledge that we can't really know anything.
We believe that our brains, minds come from the vast intelligence of the All Powerful, All Knowing G-d, yet we ALSO can't reach a true understanding of ultimate truths on our own.
All that is left is revelation. Without revelation we can't know anything beyond our very narrow world. THAT is the point of this shiur - the limits of human cognition.
