The BIGGEST challenge of our days is arguably NOT Corona but continues to be technology and our use and misuse of it. Corona can only kill in this world. Technology can get a person in both this and the next worlds!!!
Let us say that a person decides that he is ONLY going to read what "Frum" people write.
Here are the pitfalls [this obviously doesn't apply to all but to many]:
1] Lashon hara.
2] Nivul Peh.
3] Leitzanus.
4] Igniting hatred.
5] Promoting non-Torah ideologies and worse.
6] Viewing forbidden images [such as immodestly dressed women].
7] Crazy bittul zman.
But besides those things, I guess that it is OK....
There is no "filter" on these things. Even the so called frum news sites are fraught with halachic and hashkafic problems. So BEWARE!!!
