I thank everybody who came last night. I apologize for the length of the shiur. It was only afterwards when I looked at the clock that I realized how long it was. I should have gotten the idea when I noticed three girls all sleeping on each others shoulders - but alas, I didn't.

For those who missed it we learned that over 100 million prescriptions are written yearly for anti-depressant medications in the United States alone. This apparently mean that people aren't happy...

So be happy! Knowing that everything is from a loving Hashem helps one be happy no matter what.

Emunah means being with Hashem every second and knowing He is there despite the darkness.

Hashem is filled with light [אור אין סוף], Torah is light [אורייתא], Neshama is light [נר ה' נשמת אדם], Jerusalem is light [אורו של עולם]. Our job is to spread light.

Your name is supposed to reflect your essence and purpose on earth. Shmos is names meaning we knew our purpose in the galus.

Every Jew is compared to a star - from a distance very small but close up filled with light and larger than the planet earth.

In the zchus of emunah we are redeemed.
