We can convince ourselves that we all want to be rich לשם שמים but then we'd be fooling ourselves.
Being rich is great. I want to be rich too. But it is not b/c it is רצון השם. But b/c it is רצון ... ME.
Now that we acknowledge that we are just human [nothing wrong w/ that!!] and love ourselves - we can work on trying as much as possible to be לשם שמים.
