This Shabbos, at the tail end of a Kiddush, I went to the Ezras Nashim [which is really a kitchen] to take a cup of hot water from the machine. There were about two women in the room. One of them became annoyed at me and said with anger [in American accented Hebrew] "אתה לא רואה נשים פה" - "You don't see that this is the women's section??
I didn't respond. But these are two answers that I regret not giving - so I will use this platform to say what I didn't say.
1. "I didn't notice. I don't look at women. This is a Breslov shul. Breslover's don't look at women."
2. [My preferred response]: "You know ma'am, if you wouldn't be so critical, so you would be a MUCH happier person."
