Yichud #3

The Mishna says that a man is not allowed to seclude himself with two women. Some say that one woman is a Torah prohibition while the prohibition of two is rabbinic.

What about more than two? Three, four?

It depends - for Sefardim even more than two is forbidden. For Ashkenazim there is room to be lenient [but better to be strict] with more than two women provided he doesn't work in a female centered business [such as selling dresses]. This is NOT because we assume that Sefardim are more suspect than Ashkenazim but because the Sefardi poskim understand the mishna to be talking about even more than two, while the Ashkenazi poskim understand that we are to be lenient in such instances.
