Tuition at Yale University is 49,480 dollars. A 4 year education then costs almost 200,000 dollars [add dorm, food, books, traveling expenses and you are well over the 200k].
But you can go online and get a Yale education for FREE!!! So why are people paying ALL THAT MONEY? [Plus you can save yourself all the STRESS of tests and papers and avoid taking courses in which you aren't interested].
Because an online education doesn't grant a degree. So people are paying 200,000 dollars for a piece of paper that says that they graduated from Yale.
So it is not about the knowledge or education but [primarily] about the means to get a high paying job after graduation [there are also the parties... Can't get that online].
