On this note:
This morning I was standing by the sink and started chanting - TOTALLY out of the blue -
"The Goose
Is loose
Is loose
And ready to produce".
This was a reference to the Yankee closer Goose Gossage [his real name shockingly wasn't "Goose" but "Richard Michael"] - who today is 68 years old. The Yankee fans would wildly cheer this chant over and over when he came in to win the game.
I am not a Yankee fan nor was I ever. But that is part of my גירסא דינקותא [I don't know how to translate that other than "Girsa Di-yankusa"].
Lesson: Make sure your kids are busy chanting Mishnayos and other good things. They will likely remember it for life.
