Lowlights From AmFest/ Free Speech???

They had a big Turning Point USA event called AmFest.

Some lowlights:

Vivek R. who said among other things "*we* closed the southern border". We??? But that is not a big deal. All he has done in politics is drop out of the Presidential race early on b/c he had no chance. He has held no political position in his life. But "we" closed the southern border. GOOD JOB Vivek Trump.

What is more significant is that he said that there is no such thing as an inherently bad person. There are only good people who do bad things.

To rephrase Vivek: Adolph Hitler was an inherently good man. So was Joseph Stalin. So was Pol Pot. So was Yihya Sinwar and all of the Jihadists. In over 1400 years of jihad, 60 million Christians, 80 million Hindus, 10 million Buddhists and 120 million Africans of varying religions [have been killed. I don't know how many Jews but A LOT].” [Mohammed and the Unbelievers, Bill Warner, CSPI Publishing, 2010, pg. 160].

All of these mass-mass murderers were inherently good people who just did bad things.

I beg to differ.

[While on the topic of Vivek: When he was working in NYC in finance he had free time at night. What is he going to do? Learn with his chavrusa? So he tried his hand in standup comedy. It turns out that he wasn't funny so he gave it up. So Israel could theoretically have lost billions each year in US aid (which is what he wants to do) b/c some Indian guy wasn't funny].

Another lowlight was a person with a yarmulke and a name as Jewish as can be who used a vulgar word. Such a bright guy should be able to express himself w/o having to revert to foul language [unlike many with limited vocabularies who really have little ability to express themselves without using such words וד"ל - not that it makes it OK] and should also know that as the most visible yarmulke wearing Jew on earth he has a responsibility to represent us in a positive, wholesome way.

And of course that Hucker Farlson spoke.

Some people were big on the "free speech" thing, even though we disagree.

There has to be a distinction between free speech and platforming Nazis. Meaning, people can say whatever they want but if you give evil people a platform then you are a accomplice in his evil.

That is for Goyim. We Jews don't believe in free speech. If it is לשון הרע, אונאת דברים, ניבול פה, דברים בטלים etc. then one may not say it.
