In my lifetime, I have heard and read countless thousands of opinions expressed on innumerable topics. What sentence have I almost never heard?
"I know very little about this topic so I have no opinion [right now]".
The fact is - that is USUALLY the case. But the ego doesn't allow one to make such an admission, not only to others but even to ourselves.
There is SO MUCH INFORMATION of which we are not aware on every topic. We also lack the powers of analysis and perception compared to many other people who are much smarter than ourselves.
"והאיש משה עניו מאד מכל אדם אשר על פני האדמה".
If we want to emulate him, admitting our ignorance is a big step😊😊😊.
