I recently saw an article by Rav Aviner entitled "אילו הייתי רוטשילד" which in English we would translate "If I were a rich man".
He began by saying that he wouldn't buy anything for himself because he lacks nothing. Plus, where would he put it. Then is no room in the house...
Then he wrote what he would do with the money. [Hint - mitzvos, at least as he understands. Like, paying for college so that people can make parnassa].
