Abie Rottenberg has written so many beautiful songs with great, inspiring stories [Joe DiMaggios card, the Rebbe who pinch hit the home run for his class etc. etc.]. So here is my vote for the next hit song: There was a thug who used to beat up on Jews. Then he became a Shabbos Goy, saw how special and kind Jews are so he subsequently converted [mostly because of the DELICIOUS kugels he would get after turning on an air conditioner or the like] and went on to a Baal Teshuva Yeshiva. From there he went to a mainstream yeshiva where he excelled. He then married the Rosh Yeshiva's daughter. He had beaten up this Rosh Yeshiva only ten years earlier. Now he was his son-in-law!! Eventually, after the shvers passing he become Rosh Yeshiva!!!
He can call it: "Dwight wasn't white but he was Rosh Yeshiva".
INSPIRING!!!! This is so necessary in our politically charged era. To show that even a Ger can make it to the top.
