Ivana Trump, who would have been First Lady had she and Donald not divorced, has died. I think that the difficulty in being married to a personality like Donald J. far outweighs any benefit in being First Lady. NOT EASY!!! How does Melania DO IT???

The Trumps' troubled marriage became the subject of public interest over the Christmas holiday in 1989 when—on vacation in Aspen, Colorado—they were observed fighting after Ivana encountered Donald's mistress Marla Maples. The Chicago Tribune reported that by February 1990, Donald had locked Ivana out of her office at the Plaza Hotel, and a legal battle ensued over the legitimacy of the four prenuptial agreements the pair had successively negotiated over the years.

Despite this - they later made up, became friends and would speak weekly. She even endorsed him in his run for President!!!

And what is more remarkable is that where she is - she couldn't care less!!! Money has no value "there".
From a life of mansions and limitless money to a box in the ground. POWERFUL. Enough to make a even hedonist like me a tad bit more spiritual.
Her death also means that I will never be able to ask her what was up with her naming her daughter "Ivanka" when her name is Ivana.
But we can be certain that she had a lot of nachas from her daughter Yael bas Avraham Avinu and her Jewish grandchildren who will themselves marry and have families giving Ivana an eternal zchus for all of their mitzvos and maasim tovim. 馃榾 She would reportedly answer "Amen" EMPHATICALLY when her grandchildren made the bracha "砖诇讗 注砖谞讬 讙讜讬" and slightly LESS emphatically when they said "砖诇讗 注砖谞讬 讗砖讛".
