One of the most stormy parts of the life of Rav Yehuda Fishman Maimon, was his "friendly difference of opinion" with the Brisker Rav, after he wrote a "delightful" opinion piece in הצופה [alav haShalom]. Yet, in his biography, about 650 pages - not a word about it [as far as I saw and the computer checked].
Mussar Haskel: Very often, more significant than what is told is what is not told. This has so many ramifications. One is that when you read a news story, it is selective. Some information is revealed - other information not. [And what IS revealed is slanted in one direction or another].
Everything we see in the world is only part of the story. Every person we think we know is only part of the story.
