I mentioned Leah Rabin in the previous post - so that deserves a good story.
After Netanyahu was elected in 1996, she was disgusted. She said "כי בא לי לארוז מזוודות ולהתחפף מהמדינה" - I feel like packing my suitcases and leaving the country. A spontaneous collection was made to pay for her ticket - after which she retracted. In the year 2000, she left this and all countries.
