Unholy Cookies

The OU gave a hechsher to the "Pride Float Cookie Kit". It is surprising that something so treif would be rendered kosher. This was asked of them and here is their response.

What is odd about this is that this "cookie kit" represents a rebellion against Hashem and Kedusha and the OU would seemingly not want to put their symbol on that. Would they give a hechsher to a food item with a swastika or with blatant racist content? I hope not. Reminds me of the "Glatt Yacht" where the line was that nothing on the yacht is Kosher but the food. It might be suggested that there is an "economic factor" that impacted their decision to grant the hechsher.
