Yet, there is a sefer called תנא דבי אליהו filled with the teachings of Eliyahu Hanavi and almost nobody learns it.
If G-d Himself appeared to someone and revealed the secrets of our existence, nobody would be foolish enough to read the newspaper or watch netflix instead of finding out what He said. Well, he DID appear and told us His secrets for spiritual success in life. They are in the Torah!!! And yet, it is so hard to get some people to learn.
Part of the problem lies in people's lack of belief that G-d actually said those things.
