That is fine.
You can believe he is innocent. It is all a HUUUUUUGE conspiracy. A few dozen people decided to come forward and defame him just like that. The recording? A forgery. The Rabbonim who confirmed the veracity of the stories after having spoken to the alleged victims? They are completely wrong. Rav Shulzinger? What did he know! That he refused to appear in Beis Din and defend himself? He was really innocent and there was zero proof against him but he didn't want to appear in front of a Beis Din that was biased against him.
Believe what you want. Believe that the earth is flat. Believe that the moon is made out of cheese. Believe in Santa Claus. Believe that the Lubavitcher Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka is משיחה and that her husband is still alive walking around [we just mysteriously can't see him]. Believe that Corona is a little flu and NOBODY has ever died from it. People ONLY die from vaccines.
But before you run your mouth - speak to all of the people who claim to have been abused. This is not something that happened 700 years ago in a small village in Poland. His victims are alive and [not] well. If you are declaring his possible innocence [despite all the evidence to the contrary] - investigate. Speak to the Dayanim who paskened and signed that he may never marry a certain women b/c he already "acted as her husband would" - thereby compelling her halachically to divorce her husband. Confirm that their psak was mistaken. Research. Be thorough. You accuse the Dayanim who asserted his guilt for not having sufficient evidence for their decision - you are more guilty. You are declaring him innocent not having spoken to any of his accusers. The reason this is so egregious is b/c is hurts the victims [if they are really victims]. So you are "ספק" digging a knife back into people who have already been knifed so many times. How can you take such a risk??
Asking for a friend.
