ARVADA, CO — Local mom of three Kylee Miller was incredibly grateful to receive the advice to "sleep when the baby sleeps", an idea she had never once considered.
"Oh my goodness, what a novel concept!" Miller commented. "Here all this time, I assumed I should do jumping jacks in her room for the duration of her nap. How did this never occur to me? Sleep when she sleeps. Revolutionary."
Miller received the advice from kindly family friend Joan Evans, who recently had her first baby. "I've just found it helps to lay down when the baby lays down," said Evans. "You should just make a point that whenever the baby is resting, you are resting! It makes such a difference for me."
Miller reportedly slapped herself in the forehead, dumbfounded by the sheer simplicity of the idea. "All these years of total exhaustion, and the solution was staring me in the face the whole time," exclaimed Miller. "This changes everything."
At publishing time Miller had laid down for approximately 0.7 seconds after setting her baby down when the older two kids announced they had painted the living room wall "rainbows and Transformers."
