Peace

Suffering begins when the mind insists that things should have been different.

Psychology calls this rumination; the Torah calls it a lack of Emunah

Both point to the same mistake: confusing resistance with intelligence.

When you stop arguing with reality, energy returns to the present moment.

What remains may still be difficult, but it is no longer hostile.

Peace is not a better outcome—it is a different relationship to what is.
