Regarding the Rosh Yeshiva who spoke disparagingly about the chayalim: The media looks for the anomaly, the abnormality, the weird, the sensationalist. If a dog bites a man it is not a story. But if a man bites a dog - THAT is a story. The entire Charedi world in EY and Chu"l is davening for the chayalim and feels the pain of the hostages and their families and is 100 percent on the side of the Medinah in its war against Chamas. What this RY said is the first negative word said since the start of the war. All of the other Rabbanim are melamed zchus and emphasize that they are our brothers and sisters. The media likes to flame fires as click bait.

She is just one of billions who couldn't care less about Am Yisrael at best or hates us at worst. WHO CARES? Some stupid lady with serious emotional issues, as is clear from her behavior in the past. But the press likes to stoke the flames to make a story where there is no story. Even if Ben Shapiro would speak out in favor of the Chamas it shouldn't be a story. WHO CARES!!! So the world is filled with שונאי ישראל. Shkoyach. A five thousand year story. It started when all of the Jewish people were placed in a furnace [i.e. Avraham Avinu] and they have tried many different creative ways to wipe us out since. The methods change but the storyline remains the same. שנאת ישראל. We have to continue adding light to the world and becoming better Jews and not worry what all of our enemies are saying. In the end - the will cease to exist and we, individually and nationally, will live forever.
What matters is Emes. The Emes is that Am Yisrael is one nation, chosen by Hashem to be His special people and keep His mitzvos. And in the words of the Navi we just read on Shabbos:

וַאֲמַרְתֶּם בַּמָּה אֲהַבְתָּנוּ

וְאֶת עֵשָׂו שָׂנֵאתִי
וָאָשִׂים אֶת הָרָיו שְׁמָמָה
וְאֶת נַחֲלָתוֹ לְתַנּוֹת מִדְבָּר.

When a Jew is in pain, when ANY human being is in pain - the שכינה is in pain [it goes w/o saying that at war the mitzva is to defeat the enemy in any way possible והמבין יבין]. Mishna in Sanhedrin:
אמר רבי מאיר, בזמן שאדם מצטער, שכינה מה הלשון אומרת, קלני מראשי, קלני מזרועי. אם כן המקום מצטער על דמם של רשעים שנשפך, קל וחומר על דמם של צדיקים.
Someone who doesn't feel the pain of others needs help.
