A Yid marches into shul after mincha this Shabbos and declares aloud "It is assur di-oraisa to take the vaccine".
Why??
He explained!! "Do you know how many people have died from the vaccine? 250!!!" [Or maybe he said 220].
I asked an innocent question [assuming his assertion was true]: Over THREE MILLION died from Corona!!! Isn't 250 better than over 3 million??!!! [It is actually 3,935,934 at last count].
Here he dropped a "twisted-thinking" bomb: No!! The 3 million were taken by Hashem. That is His doing. But the people who died from the vaccine killed themselves. THAT is forbidden!!!
So better we allow millions to die than attempt to prevent their deaths which might result in side effects that will kill a tiny fraction of the people who take it.
According to his thinking - we may not take medication!! Sometimes there are side effects that might make the person more sick or even kill the person. NO MEDICATION!!! We may not undergo surgery!!! HASHEM gave the illness but surgery might kill the person. So stay with the illness and do nothing to try to cure it!!! NO MORE CHEMO!! Cancer is from Hashem but chemo often kills the patient and we have no right to do that.
This Yid was convinced he is right !!! Vaccines are assur di-oraisa!!! What about all the Rabbonim who say that one must take the vaccine? They obviously don't know what they are talking about b/c they don't agree with him... They don't understand that it is absolutely forbidden to do anything to protect ourselves from illnesses if there is even a minute chance that there might be side effects.
May Hashem protect us from illnesses and from twisted thinking!!!!!!!!!!!
