I heard about a study of the brain that was conducted. It was revealed that when people are involved in making money, the same parts of their brains light up that light up when they are having sexual relations and eating food.
That explains a LOT!
So the avodah is to understand that it is physiologically a thrill and to know the dangers of being addicted to that thrill.
