Elections

I am not a man of politics [and certainly not a woman of politics - or a woman of anything, for that matter] but a word about the elections which in EY especially are very much connected to religious matters.

*Just about* every party is very open about their intention to bring down the Olam HaTorah. This includes arresting random Yeshiva bochrim and choking families financially.

While I can't say that there is a party I am excited about but I will vote for the one that is going to protect the Olam HaTorah.

This does not negate my love and admiration for our brave and holy soldiers.

What pains me most is how fractured our country is. So much שנאה.

One of the BILLIONS things to thank Hashem for is that I am not a politician. I can't imagine that these people have a day of מנוחת הנפש. So the good ones deserve our gratitude for their hard work and sacrifice. Notice how many of them are surrounded by bodyguards [usually wearing corona masks - they are not afraid of bullets but are apparently concerned about a virus that is affecting almost no one...]. People want to kill them. So ברוך שלא עשני פוליטיקאי.
