If one is pursuing his Eved to kill him - does he have a din rodef?
Maybe not, b/c there is the condition of יום או יומיים so even if he catches the Eved and [as we used to say in the playgrounds] "knocks him upside the head" - he might not have a דין רוצח and is thus not a רודף?
