When I was young, I was in awe of people with advanced degrees, especially from really good schools.
Then I realized that there is zero correlation between a degree and how good a person one is. And isn't what really matters what type of human being one is? Intellectual intelligence and emotional intelligence are two totally different realms.
Then as years progressed I realized that there is also no correlation between advanced degrees, publications, tenure etc. etc. and one's INTELLECTUAL intelligence. People who have read and even written lots of books often think in such incredibly distorted ways. So what good is all of the information they have amassed???
There are COUNTLESS examples of people like this.
One example of this phenomenon is all the Phd's who are Hamas supporters and accuse Israel of being genocidal. The "Palestinians" are the poor oppressed victims while the Jews the vicious oppressors. Jews only want to conquer while Arabs just want peace.
As if we Jews randomly blow ourselves up on buses or in restaurants killing and maiming innocent people. Or like an Arab is guaranteed lynched to death if he makes a wrong turn and drives into Bnei Brak but a Jew can drive into Ramallah no problem. They will give him lunch and then give him directions to get to his destination. Or an Arab can never go to a Jewish hospital because he would surely come out dead as opposed to Jews who can freely go to Arab hospitals and receive dedicated treatment and care.
