The global economy is built on a foundation of human insecurity. If we all woke up tomorrow morning perfectly satisfied with our lives, the markets would vanish by noon. Contentment is a financial death sentence; we don’t trade in goods, we trade in the pursuit of a happiness that isn't allowed to arrive.
