A highly popular Internet rabbi released a video, viewed by tens of thousands, in which he claims there is no single, true Moshiach.
No need to dwell on the emptiness (דברי הבל) of such statements and how he explained it.
By outright denying the coming of Moshiach, he has—according to the Rambam's explicit ruling [הלכות מלכים י"א-א]—placed himself outside the bounds of Klal Yisrael, as one who denies not only the prophets but the Torah itself and Moshe Rabbeinu.
Instead of the customary "Mazel Tov," one might wryly say he has earned "Mazel Ra." Yet I prefer not to attribute his heresy to mere bad Mazel.
