There is an איסור of לא תחנם which forbids, among other things, praising גויים. Sadly, this איסור is not well known and it is routinely transgressed by well meaning people.
But if there if is תועלת for a Jew or מוסר to be learned [like with דמא בן נתינה] then it is permitted.
So a good word about Elise Stefanik: First - about the most outspoken pro-Jewish/Israel politician in all of American politics. A much better friend of ours than many Jewish politicians. So super-kol-hakavod!
Now she quits her race for governer and is dropping out of politics completely in order to raise her son, b/c, as she said herself, being a mother is more important to her than any political achievement. What a REFRESHING message in our confused era!! Now, I am quite sure that there were other factors involved in her dropping out of the race [what - she didn't know she has a child before entering the race? מעיקרא מאי קסברה ולבסוף מאי קסברה?]. Maybe she had inside information that Trump wasn't going to endorse her and then she thought she would lose or maybe other factors [some were מדייק from her words that her family has been physically threatened - a very likely scenario in our times]. But still. Her son is definitely part of it.
I actually suspect that she has Jewish roots. She is too good and Jewishy to be completely devoid of any Jewish blood. Her father's family came from a shtetl in western Galicia called Freishtat which is actually a Jewish last name. But who knows. Anyway - I hope she sees the nonsense in a virgin birth [she is married - she knows how it really works...] and god being a human being who was killed and a religion based on a lot of contradictory stories recorded long after the events were supposed to have transpired and comes to the דת האמת. But in the meantime - she is a wonderful example for all American girls about priorities. This is despite being educated at that mind poisoning/ brain washing institution called Harvard. [My father in law actually went to Harvard. That explains my *extremely* high level of intelligence].
And a super-duper kol hakavod to בנות ישראל הכשרות who understand before they get to their 40's [as is Stefanik] that the absolute greatest thing a woman can do is give her children love, care, time, affection and the pleasure and security of knowing that they are the center of her life. NOBODY ELSE can do that for them. So even though most frum women work - their children and husbands come first.
And for that we say THANK YOU. Because what is עם ישראל's future if not our precious children.
