9 Brief Happiness Tips

To be happy:

1) Practice Gratitude. We have COUNTLESS things to be grateful for that we take for granted. When was the last time you thought about how USEFUL your ten fingers are? - To take one example... 

2) Don't compare yourself against others. Life is not a competition. 

3) Focus on the NOW. Almost all of everybody's thoughts are either on the past or the future. Live in the moment.  

4) Perform Acts of Kindness. Research shows that being kind is a SUPER boon to happiness. 

5) Optimize Your Sleep. Most of us don't sleep enough. It brings us down emotionally. 

6) Clean-Up Your Diet. You are what you eat. We eat junk - our bodies become junk depositories.  

7) Get Physically Active. Like - every medical professional on the planet will tell you how important it is to exercise. This is both for your physical and emotional well being. 

8] Focus on building relationships. The better the quality of your relationships, the better the quality of your life. 

9] Believe in G-d. Believers are happier people b/c [among other reasons] they know that their life has purpose and that even the trials and tribulations are for their best.
