When someone speaks empty words, we say "he just babeled on".
Where does the word "babel" come from?
BAVEL!!! That was where Hashem mixed up their languages.
So we Jews who don't call Bavel "Babylon" [unless we are on the LIRR] should say "he just baveled on". But since such a statement is Lashon Hara we shouldn't say it at all.
Note: Since Hashem was בלל their language - why isn't the place called "בלל" and then we would all be learning "תלמוד בללי"?
I am "mixed up" and confused!!
