I used to have a mild intolerance for such denial; now, it has escalated into a full-blown allergy.
The tragedy of willful blindness is that those who suffer from it are rarely the ones who pay the price. It is the rest of us—the unfortunate souls in the vicinity of their denial—who foot the bill. There is a remarkable level of detachment required to ignore reality when it is screaming in your face, a conviction that you possess a "brilliant" insight that the people actually living through the crisis somehow lack.
Consider this a public service announcement intended to save you from future embarrassment. If you find yourself aligning with the following perspectives, you are operating under a profound and dangerous set of delusions:
The Myth of the Narrow Target
If you believe the Iranian regime’s only target is the Jewish people—despite them chanting “Death to America” and “Death to Europe” for the entire world to hear—that isn't optimism. That is a self-inflicted lack of survival instinct. To believe you aren't on their hit list is to ignore the regime's own mission statement.
The Failure of Appeasement
If you think a lasting peace can be signed with an apocalyptic regime that stones women for a stray strand of hair, you haven't just ignored history; you’ve invited it to repeat itself. Appeasement always ends in blood. When a regime rapes, tortures, and butchers its own people, believing they will honor a piece of paper is a fantasy. History warned us in 1938; the cost of ignoring that warning was global catastrophe.
Understanding the Ideology
Let’s be clear: this is not a vague political disagreement. This is a militarized theology rooted in conquest. Salafism—from the Arabic salaf, meaning ‘predecessors’—is a regressive, militant political ideology. It is modern-day imperialism that pursues a maximalist agenda through terrorism. Its goal is global submission through the restoration of a 7th-century khilāfah. While the West looks toward the future, these mullahs are obsessed with a "golden age" of the past—one that no modern, person should wish to revisit.
The Nuclear Fiction
Chekhov famously said that a gun placed on the stage in the first act must fire by the third. If you believe this regime is building "civilian" nuclear capabilities, you are treating a guillotine as "interior design." To hear threats of annihilation while watching the regime stand inches away from the technology to achieve it—and then calling it "mere rhetoric"—is to volunteer for your own funeral. You aren't being "calm"; you are living in a dream world while the fuse is lit.
The Borderless Threat
If you think this is strictly an "Israel problem," you misunderstand the nature of global jihad. A regime obsessed with global Sharia does not politely halt at the border. The bomb does not check passports before it detonates. If you believe uranium is enriched as a "hobby," you have reached a level of denial that defies logic. People act with purpose. When someone buys a hard avocado, they are waiting for it to ripen so they can eat it. No one builds a nuclear infrastructure unless they intend to use the power it yields.
The View from the Ivory Tower
While the Iranian regime fires ballistic missiles at innocent Israeli civilians, I see many in the West sitting in the safety of their homes, lecturing us on why we shouldn't defend ourselves. It is staggering. I even have people commenting on my content claiming my accent is fake or my grammar is a "tactic." The level of triviality people occupy while we are fighting for our lives is mind-blowing.
The "Progressive" Contradiction
If you consider yourself an activist for Western liberal values, yet you carry water for an Islamist regime that throws homosexuals of roofs and abuses women, you are a walking contradiction. You aren't being "inclusive"; you are acting as a useful tool for those who would be your executioners. While you debate moral nuance, they are sharpening the blade. They aren't hiding their intent; they are simply counting on your naivety to keep the path clear.
The Economic and Moral Reality
If you believe that handing billions of dollars in sanctions relief to the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism leads to "regional stability" rather than faster-flying missiles, your logic is bankrupt. If you look at a democracy defending its children and a regime that uses children as human shields and conclude that "both sides" are the same, your moral compass is non-existent.
The Final Act
If your only takeaway from this is that my tone is "too harsh," then you have proven my point. While the world burns, you are worried about the etiquette of the fire alarm.
The West is being infiltrated—not just physically, but ideologically—by those who lack the clarity to recognize an existential enemy. They want to see Tel Aviv, Paris, London, and New York reduced to ash. This is a struggle between civilization and a dark, regressive past.
We will not let you pull the trigger on Western civilization. We do not have the luxury of your delusions. We are the ones standing between the blade and your neck while you complain about the noise we make defending you.
One day, you will continue sipping your coffee and posting your opinions in a world we kept spinning, entirely oblivious to how close you came to the edge. You are a miracle of modern society: a person who has survived this long despite a total lack of survival instincts.
